Aiming at the performance degradation of the existing presentation attack detection methods due to the illumination variation, a two-stream vision transformers framework (TSViT) based on transfer learning in two complementary spaces is proposed in this paper. The face images of RGB color space and multi-scale retinex with color restoration (MSRCR) space are fed to TSViT to learn the distinguishing features of presentation attack detection. To effectively fuse features from two sources (RGB color space images and MSRCR images), a feature fusion method based on self-attention is built, which can effectively capture the complementarity of two features. Experiments and analysis on Oulu-NPU, CASIA-MFSD, and Replay-Attack databases show that it outperforms most existing methods in intra-database testing and achieves good generalization performance in cross-database testing. 相似文献

In present study, we report a V doping fabrication method for obtaining rod-like MgO crystals decorated with a nanoflake layer. This novel structure has only been minimally reported in literature. Pure MgO and Mg2V2O7–MgO composite materials were obtained by precipitation and impregnation methods, with vanadium added concentrations of 0–9%. The influence of V doping on crystal structure and particle morphology of MgO was investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis demonstrated that MgO has a cubic structure, while X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) revealed that V5+ exists on the surface of MgO. The specific surface areas and pore sizes of MgO composites were calculated by BET and BJH analysis. These techniques revealed that specific surface area and pore size of MgO increased due to vanadium doping. The antibacterial effects of Mg2V2O7–MgO composite materials against Escherichia coli (E. coli) and Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) were assessed using a bacterial killing/colony-forming unit (CFU) assay and bacteriostatic ring method. Our results demonstrate that V doping dramatically improved antimicrobial properties of MgO, with 7 mol% doping inducing the best antibacterial activity. X-type samarium-cadmium co-substituted hexaferrite with compositions Ba2-xSmxCo2CdyFe28-yO46 (0.00 ≤ x ≤ 0.08, and 0 ≤ y ≤ 0.4) were prepared at 1340 °C using a simple heat treatment technique. All heated samples were characterized using FTIR, XRD, SEM, VSM, M?ssbauer, and low-frequency dielectric measurements. XRD analysis of prepared samples shows the formation of X as a major phase along with hematite. The MS value varied from 67.01 Am2/kg to 50.43 Am2/kg; whereas the Hc value changed from 2.95 kA/m to 6.17 kA/m, A high value of MS (67.01 Am2/kg) is observed in the pure sample, and a very low value of Hc (2.95 kA/m) is observed for x = 0.06, y = 0.3 compositions, but Mr/Ms < 0.5 confirm the multi-domain nature of prepared hexaferrites. Hysteresis loops of all samples are narrow, and confirmed that formed samples belong to magnetically soft. Mössbauer spectra of the three samples (S1, S3, and S5) show the existence of doublets. Significantly low values of coercivity, retentivity, and loss tangent in Sm–Cd substituted samples signified those prepared materials can be used to design electromagnets, transformer cores, electric motors, and maybe a potential candidate for lossless low-frequency applications. 相似文献

Floating treatment wetlands (FTWs) use plants’ roots for water quality improvement. The plants are supported by a buoyant structure deployed at the water surface. The roots form a porous zone beneath the structure and remove pollutants carried in suspension through filtering, absorption and uptake. This paper used CFD simulation to model FTWs arranged in series and spanning the channel width and to study the effects of root length and spacing between FTWs on flow distribution and mass removal. The root zone was modelled as a porous media, and removal was computed using first-order decay, for which a range of removal constants was tested. Longer roots increased the reactive volume of the root zone, which increased the fraction of pollutant inflow entering the FTWs. Increasing the distance between FTWs allowed greater mixing between water that went through and beneath the upstream FTW. This increased the concentration entering each FTW, which enhanced mass removal per FTW. However, a larger distance between FTWs reduced the number of FTWs in the channel, reducing the reactive volume. In the tradeoff between mixing and reactive volume, the reactive volume was more important, such that total removal in the channel increased with longer roots and more units of FTW (shorter gap distance). However, removing the gap entirely was detrimental, as FTWs in series removed more mass than a continuous FTW of same volume. This study points to two design recommendations for FTWs in series. First, if resources for building FTWs are not limiting, but the channel length is, it is preferable to prioritize higher reactive volume (shorter gap distance) to achieve maximum removal per channel length. Second, if resources for FTWs are limiting, but channel length is not, it is better to place the FTWs with a longer gap distance, preferably along enough to allow mixing over the full depth between FTWs, as this will achieve maximum removal per FTW. 相似文献

Detection of adulteration of small ruminant milk is very important for health and commercial reasons. New analytical and cost-effective methods need to be developed to detect new adulteration practices. In this work, we aimed to explore the ability of the MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry to detect bovine milk in caprine and ovine milk using samples from 18 dairy farms. Different levels of adulteration (0.5, 1, 5, 10, 20, 40, 60, and 80%) were analyzed during the lactation period of goat and sheep (in May, from 60 to 90 d in milk, and in August, from 150 to 180 d in milk). Two different ranges of peptide-protein spectra (500–4,000 Da; 4–20 kDa) were used to establish a calibration model for predicting the concentration of adulterant using partial least squares and generalized linear model with lasso regularization. The low molecular weight part of the spectra together with the generalized linear model with lasso regularization regression model appeared to have greater potential for our aim of detection of adulteration of small ruminants' milk. The subsequent prediction model was able to predict the concentration of bovine milk in caprine milk with a root mean square error of 11.4 and 17.0% in ovine milk. The results offer compelling evidence that MALDI-TOF can detect the adulteration of small ruminants' milk. However, the method is severely limited by (1) the complexity of the milk proteome resulting from the adulteration technique, (2) the potential degradation of thermolabile proteins, and (3) the genetic variability of tested samples. Additionally, the root mean square error of prediction based only on one individual sample adulteration series can drop down to 6.34% for quantification of adulterated caprine milk and 6.28% for adulterated ovine milk for the full set of concentrations or down to 2.33 and 4.00%, respectively, if we restrict only to low concentrations of adulteration (0, 0.5, 1, 5, 10%). 相似文献

The effects of non-thermal plasma (NTP) on the physicochemical properties of wheat flour and the quality of fresh wet noodles ( FWN) were investigated. The results showed that NTP effectively decreased the total plate count (TPC), yeast and mould count (YMC) and Bacillus spp. in wheat flour. Wet gluten contents and the stability time reached the maximum when treated for 20 s. The viscosity of starch increased significantly after treatment due to the increased of damaged starch. The contents of secondary structure were altered to some extent, which was because that the ordered network structure of gluten protein broken. Furthermore, compared with the control, texture properties of FWN were enhanced significantly at 20 s, and the darkening rate of FWN was greatly inhibited due to the low polyphenol oxidase (PPO) activity. Consequently, the most suitable treatment was 500 W for 20 s, providing a basis for the application of NTP in flour products. 相似文献

This study investigated the effect of 5 freeze–thaw cycles (freezing at −18°C for 12 h and then thawing at 4°C for approximately 12 h) on the meat quality, proximate composition, water distribution and microstructure of bovine rumen smooth muscle (BSM). As the number of freeze–thaw cycles increased, BSM pH, shear force, water content and protein content decreased by 3.06%, 35.50%, 14.49% and 21.11%, respectively, whereas BSM thawing loss, cooking loss, pressing loss, total aerobic count (TAC), ash content and fat content increased by 108.12%, 47.75%, 78.33%, 90.99%, 105% and 35.20%, respectively. The freeze–thaw cycles resulted in greater protein and lipid oxidation, as evidenced by a 36.46% reduction in the sulfhydryl content and a 209.06% and 338.46% increase in the carbonyl and malondialdehyde contents, respectively. Ice crystal formation disrupted the structural integrity of the muscle tissue. Low-field nuclear magnetic resonance results showed that the freeze–thaw cycles prolonged the relaxation times (T2b, T21 and T22), indicating that immobile water shifted to free water, and consequently, free water mobility increased. After 3 freeze–thaw cycles, the decline in shear force slowed, the increase in thawing loss became accelerated, and the TAC approached the domain value (6 log colony-forming units/g). Therefore, the number of freeze–thaw cycles of smooth muscle during transport, storage and distribution should be controlled to 3 or fewer.
